Miles for Midwives - 3 weeks away! Lets Celebrate the victory for Licensed Midwives in California!!!

Hello All! Miles for Midwives is 3 weeks away and we certainly have something to celebrate! On Thursday the State Assembly passed a bill that removes physician supervision for Licensed Midwives in addition to many other wins! As if we didn't already have a good reason to celebrate midwives and midwifery, now we have an extra wonderful reason to come together and celebrate midwives and the work we do and the families we serve here in California. Please come join us on October 13th in Golden Gate Park for a 5k Stroller-Friendly walk/run in celebration of National Midwifery Week. After the race be sure to check out the various tables from bay area midwifery groups and other local organizations. Register in advance for the discounted fee of $25.00!!!

2nd Annual Miles for Midwives - 10/13/13

After a 3 year hiatus, we are very excited to be organizing the second Annual San Francisco Miles for Midwives Event. We invite you and your family to join us! Proceeds from the event will go towards increasing access to midwifery care for California Families through California Nurse-Midwives Association and California Families for Access to Midwives - both organizations working towards making significant policy changes for Licensed and Nurse-Midwives in California.
