All across the United States, from New York to Seattle during National Midwifery Week, groups are gathering together to celebrate and support the work of midwives and the communities they serve. We are excited to announce the First Annual Miles for Midwives Walk/Run in the San Francisco Bay Area to join in these celebrations!
The first Miles for Midwives event was started by the New York City chapter of the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) in 2002, and has been a growing ever since. The Seatttle Chapter of ACNM followed in 2008.

Yay! Can't wait to participate!
ReplyDeleteI am SO SORRY to miss this event! I'm on call for a 2nd time mama (my very first client who is pregnant again) who is birthing in Santa Rosa. Her first baby came at 38+6 and pretty quick, they're at 40+6 today. I just don't feel comfortable being in the city. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWe really enjoyed the event. Great people and great weather. Thank you for everyone who stopped by our table for In Home CPR. We hope to see you next year!
